Farmhouse Biscuits

I have never been able to make biscuits because I am TERRIBLE at cutting in butter (or Crisco). Wesley has wanted me to make biscuits for years & I literally couldn’t do it. I was elated when my friend, Hannah, shared this recipe that she makes. I googled it & it’s a THING! Two ingredient biscuits, y’all!

We were pretty excited this week because we got to use OUR cream from our family milk cow. How cool is that?!

They’re so easy & I never measure now.

All you do is mix self rising flour & heavy whipping cream!

A quick google search shows that the basic ratio is:
-2 cups self rising flour (this week I ran out & used 1 cup all purpose flour, 1.5 teaspoons baking powder, & 1/4 teaspoon salt)

- 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream

Mix until a soft dough forms-I just use a fork to mix it & then use my hands.

Roll onto a floured surface, cut out biscuits.

Cook at 450 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
